This medium sized storage jar is a useful addition to the kitchen for storing sugar or teabags. It has been thrown on the wheel with a grogged terra cotta and decorated with a black slip and hakeme white slip over top. It has been glazed in an ash glaze and fired high to 1220 degrees in an electric kiln.
All my work is handmade by me in my studio at the Gaolyard Studios in St Ives, Cornwall.
