This is a fun pot to have in the kitchen! This butter jar has been thrown then altered to fit the standard rectangular shape of butter. This butter dish has been thrown with a grogged terra cotta and decorated with a thick white slip. It has been glazed with a blue ash glaze and fired high to 1220 in an electric kiln.
All of my work is handmade by me in my studio at the Gaolyard Studios in St Ives, Cornwall.
