My dinner plates are designed to be consistent and work well together as a set on the table, but they are decorated individually to be a stand alone statement piece. This dinner plate has been decorated with a thick slip. It has been glazed in a blue-green ash glaze and fired to 1220 degrees in an electric kiln.
All of my work is handmade by me in my studio at the Gaolyard Studios in St Ives, Cornwall.

My work is thrown on the wheel using a groggy terra cotta. It has been decorated with textural slips, glazed in ash glazes, and fired to 1220 in an electric kiln
