My large mug is well suited for a big cup of tea, hot chocolate, or very large coffee. It tapers in at the top to keep the heat in and has a comfortable pulled handle. that feels nice in the hand. This mug has been thrown with a grogged terra cotta and decorated using a black and thick slip. It has been glazed in a blue ash glaze and fired high to 1220 in an electric kiln.
All of my work is made by me in my studio at the Gaolyard Studios in St Ives, Cornwall.
