This general purpose bowl is a useful size for soup, pasta, salad, or most anything you would have at meal times. It has been thrown with a deeper shape and decorated on the outside, allowing for a smoother finish on the inside. Thrown on the wheel using a grogged terra cotta, it has been decorated with a thick slip pattern. This bowl is glazed in an amber ash glaze and fired high to 1220 degrees in an electric kiln.
All of my work is handmade by me in my studio at the Gaolyard Studios in St Ives, Cornwall.
