This smaller mug is ideal for a cup of coffee or a smaller cup of tea. With a strong pulled handle and tapered rim, it feels good to hold and to use. This mug is thrown using a grogged terra cotta and decorated with a black and hakeme slip. It has been glazed with an amber ash glaze and fired high to 1220 degrees in an electric kiln.
All of my work is handmade by me in my studio at the Gaolyard Studios in St Ives, Cornwall.
