My teabowls are a versatile and fun drinking vessel that you can use to enjoy your tea, coffee, juice, wine, or anything else you want! I've always enjoyed making them, they are fun, experimental and a great shape to play around with and test new ideas for decorations. This teabowl has been thrown using a groggy terra cotta and decorated with a thick slip. It has been glazed with an amber ash glaze and fired high to 1220 degrees in an electric kiln.
All of my work is handmade by me in my studio at the Gaolyard Studios in St Ives, Cornwall.
